Shopping at Its Best Using the Honey App

I love shopping online.

Let’s face it, dragging little kids with you to the store who want to run away and touch everything deflates the fun of shopping in the store.
The convenience of shopping online can’t be beat.
There are plenty of ways to save money while shopping online. I’ve got one more for you to add to your bag of tricks.
It’s called Honey.

What exactly is Honey?
If Ebates, Retail Me Not, and an Amazon deal finder had a baby, it’d be Honey.
Here are all the awesome things the Honey app can do for you:

Automatically search and apply coupon codes

With Honey installed on your browser, you’ll see it light up with a number in the corner showing there is a deal with Honey available

Once you click on the icon it’ll expand and show you if coupon codes are available.

If you know of a code that works, you can share it with the Honey community

Earn Honey Gold (which is a gift card reward)

Similar to how Ebates will give you a cash back rebate, Honey will allow you to earn a percentage back on your purchase.

This percentage will convert into what is called “Honey Gold” which can be cashed out for gift cards once you’ve earned at least $10. (1,000 points = $10)

Find the best prices on Amazon

Shopping on Amazon?

(If you don’t have Amazon Prime I highly recommend it! So many great benefits, but that’s a discussion for another day!)

Honey has a couple of excellent features to help you find the best prices on Amazon.

First, it’ll tell you if you’re currently viewing the best price for your item.

Or, if there is a better price available …

If you’re not in a hurry to buy, and want to get the best price, you can add the item to a DropList by Honey. This will put a tracker on your item and watch to see if the price drops. If it does, you’ll be notified!

How’s that for amazing!

Use this link to install the Honey app onto your browser. You can install it to a desktop only (at this time) and to Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Opera.

As of now it is not available on mobile or tablet and not yet available for IE or Edge.
You can contact Honey at yourfriends@joinhoney.com if you’d like to be notified when Honey becomes available on other devices or browsers.

What are you waiting for? Go get the Honey app now! I promise you’ll love it!
